The prominent Rosen Plaza on International Drive sits adjacent to the Orlando Convention Center and close to SeaWorld and other Orlando attractions. Guests can hop complimentary shuttles to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Wet 'n Wild, and the mammoth Florida Mall. They also can grab rides on the I Ride Trolley, which stops at the hotel's front door and operates along a six mile stretch of International Drive, the location of a myriad of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
The center of the Rosen Plaza is the outdoor splash pool surrounded by towering Florida palms and a spa tub. Overlooking the pool, the Orlando hotel's fitness center features treadmills, four stationary bicycles and free weights. The hotel also features a 24 hour game room, gift shop, pizza place, 24 hour deli, 60,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, audio visual services, business center, and banquet and catering services. Although International Drive is packed with restaurants, guests can enjoy the hotel's fine dining at Jack's Place, which specializes in steaks, and Caf� Matisse's American cuisine and buffets.
Decorated with ornate window treatments and gold framed wall hangings, the 800 guestrooms include high speed Internet access, desks, cable TVs with premium channels, and safes.
Travelers shouldn't confuse the Rosen Plaza with the Rosen Centre, which is in the same block. With its vast, columned lobby, marble floors and central chandelier, the Rosen Plaza provides a stately welcome, extra convenience for conventioneers, and a good location for leisure travelers wanting to stay close to everything Orlando.
